How are Refugees Screened

The Government of Canada has announced that 25,000 refugees will be accepted and settled in Canada by the end of February 2016.  3,000 refugees, both government sponsored and privately sponsored, are expected to arrive in Alberta by the end of February with approximately 1,300 settling in Calgary.
