Immigrants who are unemployed and who cannot access Government of Canada services in English or French may come to the Centre for Newcomers for assistance in filling out an Employment Insurance application.

Service users who speak Chinese, Vietnamese and Punjabi are welcome to come for service on a first come, first-served basis on specific days. An appointment is not necessary.

• Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin):  Tuesday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

​

• Vietnamese:  Wednesday from 1:00 to 4:30 pm

​

• Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu:  Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

​

• Spanish, Arabic and Filipino: Appointment only
