Through the EthniCity Catering and Café Training as a food service worker, you can gain valuable Canadian work experience in our commercial kitchens and cafes, and learn new skills to help you find a permanent job.​

EthniCity Catering is a social enterprise of the Centre for Newcomers that provides work experience for immigrants and refugees as well as a multi-ethnic menu for Calgary customers.

12 weeks of hands-on experience in customer service and commercial kitchen

Obtain a food safety card from Alberta Health Services

Unemployed or underemployed and looking for a job
