The CFN Winter Event is held every December to show newcomers how to celebrate their first winter in Canada and a chance for them to be more familiar with their new home. We are expecting around 120 clients (adults and children) and it is hoped this will create an opportunity for them to interact and build social networks among fellow newcomers from different parts of the world. CFN has also invited different community/city resources like the Calgary Public Library, Calgary Police Service and Alberta Health Services. And most importantly, there will also be lots of fun activities for both children. and adults alike!
