CFN held nearly 700 workshops, training sessions and events with a total of more than 7.000 participants over the course 2019-2020 fiscal year, providing education, employment, inspiration, knowledge, networking and fun for the City of Calgary.
EVENTS & WORKSHOPS careers & job services, settlement & integration, youth & community building, indigenous education, along with entertainment & fun are all offered throughout our wide range of events and workshops.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT as a part of CFN's mandate to support newcomers and the receiving community in becoming diverse and united, the following workshops are being offered to help build both a settlement sector and a greater Calgary community that is welcoming and inclusive.
The goal is for organizations and individuals to improve the ability to comprehend and effectively communicate with people across cultures, belief systems and sexual orientations while working efficiently within a myriad of cultural beliefs.
